Marjorie Wintzerith: gold in her hands

Marjorie Wintzerith is a seamstress. His workshop Ebony Creations in Seingbouse offers a wide choice of original and trendy items.

Ebony, a hard and resistant wood, but also very elegant, was the inspiration behind the name of the workshop. Just as elegant are the creations you will find in the store: handbags, children's clothing, household linen, accessories, bookmarks and jewelry, such as rings created from buttons and other little treasures . Even dog clothes! Having worked extensively in sales and haberdashery, she has always evolved in the world of sewing. From now on, she can live from her passion in her workshop where imagination has no limits.

We interviewed her for you.

What do you enjoy creating the most?

“Clothes and accessories for little girls, because I didn’t have any. I sewed a lot for my son and now in the shop, I have fun with the girl's side. My favorite moment in my job is the moment when the customer discovers the finished product. I want to please. »

What materials do you like to work with the most?

“I prefer natural fibers, like cotton for example. I always favor naturalness. »

Congratulations on obtaining MOSL Quality approval! What motivated your approach?

“I wanted to promote the Moselle and our territory of Freyming-Merlebach. More meaningful for me than the simple “made in France”, this MOSL Quality approval certifies production in Moselle and raw materials that are as local as possible. »

You are obviously very attached to our end of Moselle. What is your favorite place within the Community of Communes?

“I love old stones. I particularly appreciate Old Hombourg because I love the medieval period, but our entire territory is beautiful. I'm a fan of all the little chapels that we come across while walking through our villages. »
