The Birkenhoff im Wardnt goat farm is located away from the crowds, in a quiet and pleasant stroll in Germany.
Marion, the owner, has the gift of harmonizing beautiful wild or cultivated plants to make the courtyard of the place magical every season. We sometimes come across goats in their shed or a few hundred meters further along the forest in the surrounding meadows.
The animals are cared for and respected there, particularly with the annual closure from November to February/March during the gestation period.
The products offered are as original as they are tasty: fresh goat cheese balls with sprouted seeds, seasonal plants or fruits, hard cheeses with pepper or seeds, ricotta, etc.
I invite you to discover my corner of magic where I like to stroll every Friday, the unique opening day of this business with its warm atmosphere.
From 13:45 p.m., we will discover the local wild flora and recipe ideas then we will taste 2 kinds of organic wine selected by Gaby, an expert in the field, accompanied by 5 appetizers based on goat cheeses from the Birkenhof goat farm in Nassweiler.
