Seingbouse is already attested in 1255. Its name means “wood cleared by burning”. The St-Jacques church was built in 1730 but it is characteristic of the second half of the XNUMXth century, particularly with its exuberant stucco decoration which overloads its choir. It testifies to the importance of religion in our region, formerly a bastion of Catholicism.
