The Hoste ponds, two mirrors of beauty and poetry in a setting of phragmites, fields and forests. The harrier comes to fish. A great crested grebe parades. Silhouettes of fish disturb the surface of the water. Time has stopped. Breathe, you are elsewhere... The bittern and the little bittern, rare species, also find refuge here, neighbors of the amphibians and numerous mammals which populate the meadows punctuated with wild orchids. The fishing huts on the so-called “lower” pond offer a decidedly unique landscape that you will not find elsewhere. Two ornithological observation posts allow you to see without being seen. In Hoste, relaxation and a change of scenery are guaranteed.
