A fantastic viewpoint in the heart of a protected area, the belvedere is an essential stop on any walk or hike in the Barrois quarry. The quarry is classified as a ZNIEFF where protected species find refuge, it is a place that is both peaceful and grandiose: the variegated sandstone rubs shoulders with the blue of the ponds and the emerald of the wildflower meadows. The Warndt forest which surrounds it is classified Natura 2000.
