An unusual environment for fishing ! At the ponds of the carriere barrois at Freyming-Merlebach.
Plenty varieties of fish : pike, perch, roach, tench, mirror carp and even carp over 10 kg !
Only fishing "no kill" is allowed (all year, during the day, according to the prefectural ordinances).It is however necessary to be in possession of a fishing authorization for the pond. Those are issued by the city of Freyming-Merlebach, the tourism office of Hombourg-Haut and the shops Schwartz-Delesse and tobacconist's in Freyming-Merlebach.
Rates 2015 :
- 45€ for an annual subscription
- 8€ for a day pass
- free for children under the age of 13 accompanied by an adult holder of a fishing authorization ( annual or daily ).
