The heart of the village is full of secrets... Who knows that some venerable farmers' houses have fortunately been preserved there? These houses, all located in Rue Basse, built around 1730 demonstrate a style of construction very different from that of the half-timbered house of the villages on the plateau. Opulent in appearance, these farms which reflect the affluence of their owners, are clearly inspired by the urban style, for example that of the bourgeois houses of Saint-Avold. The porches in particular are of rare elegance.
