The Théodore Gouvy Institute is located in the Villa Gouvy and works to rediscover Théodore Gouvy, a 19th century composer who has unjustly fallen into oblivion. Their main activities are: the Les Rencontres Musicales festival, the edition of his works and visits to the Villa Gouvy, where the composer lived the last 30 years of his life and composed his most important works. Currently, Villa Gouvy is under construction and therefore cannot be visited but you can admire it from the outside and, of course, the Institute continues its activities during the work.
